Barefoot Bodeez Yoga
Barefoot Bodeez Yoga classes take place on Court E every Monday morning at 9:45am. The 1 hour long classes are moderately paced and are a fusion of Vinyasa sequence, core strength and other postures allowing the body to open up often tight areas such as the hips and hamstrings, shoulders and the spine. The classes are also suitable for beginners as precise instruction is given to obtain the correct alignment and breath and as there is no competition in yoga, each person works to his / her own capacity.
Nowadays yoga is widely being recognised as a great accompaniment to any sport as it not only stretches out all parts of the body maintaining strength and flexibility, it also brings more peace and clarity to the mind allowing for better focus and performance.

Mondays - 9.45am to 10.45am
£5 per class for JSRC members*
Please bring a mat and some water (and a blanket and / or cushion if required)
Please do not eat for 2-3 hours before class
and wear something you can stretch in!
Beverley originally started her yoga journey at the age of 16 and found that somehow it seemed to
make her day naturally flow better so from then on she was hooked! She was originally self taught
from books until finally in 1997, she qualified as one of the first Bikram Yoga teachers outside of the
USA and more recently qualified in India in more therapeutic style of yoga. It is the latter type that
will be offered at the Jersey Squash and Racketball Club.
